New funding AG Schupp by the German Research Foundation (DFG) to study the regulation of Vitamin A homeostasis in metabolic diseases
Prof. Dr. Michael Schupp and his Austrian collaborator acquired a 3-years project funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG). The project will address the hormonal control of tissue distribution of certain Vitamin A derivatives and its role in glucose and fatty acid metabolism. The topic will be studied together with Assoz. Prof. Dr. Achim Lass (Institute of Molecular Biosciences (IMB), Karl- Franzens- Universität Graz).
